BlackBerry is all set to launch its next flagship smartphone — BlackBerry KEY2 today. The company has scheduled an event in New York, where it will unveil the smartphone. BlackBerry KEY2 is the successor of the last year launched KeyONE smartphone.

Recently, the company also released a teaser video of the smartphone giving us a glimpse of the yet-to-be launched device. As per the video, the BlackBerry KEY2 will sport a dual rear camera setup. This is the first BlackBerry smartphone to come with dual cameras at the back. The video also highlighted that the rear panel has a diamond like pattern design which will enable users to hold the smartphone comfortably. The side of the device consists of the power button, volume rockers and a third button. The third button is expected to be the convenience key or the camera shutter button.
Just like the BlackBerry KeyONE, the KEY2 will also be a touch and type phone. This means that the smartphone will come with a touchscreen display but will also house the traditional BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard.
Recently, the BlackBerry KEY2 was spotted online on TENAA listing. As per the listing, the KEY2 is said to run Android Oreo operating system and feature a 4.5-inch display with 1080×1620 pixel resolution. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The smartphone is claimed to offer 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The users will also have the option of expanding the storage by installing a microSD card.
In the camera department, it is expected that the smartphone might offer 21MP primary and 8MP secondary modules on the rear end accompanied with LED flash. Apart from this, all the other details of the device will be known at the time of the launch.
