The Detroit Tigers added three pitchers, three outfielders and two infielders on the second day.
DETROIT — The Detroit Tigers added three pitchers, three outfielders and two infielders on the second day of the 2018 MLB Draft.
They started Day 2 by selecting University of Texas second baseman Kody Clemens, son of seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens.
They also added outfielder Kingston Liniak of Mission Hills, Calif., who retweeted a report that he was seeking a $1 million bonus, about double the slot value of the pick. The Tigers could make that up by paying Clemens less than the slot value for his spot.

On Day 1, the Tigers selected Auburn right-hander Casey Mize with the No. 1 overall pick and Grayson (Ga.) outfielder Parker Meadows with the first pick of the second round .
Day 3 of the draft begins Wednesday at noon and includes rounds 11-40.
