On June 12, Xiaomi had launched the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones in China. And the company will be launching the Redmi 6 Pro smartphone and Mi Pad 4 tablet on June 25 in the home country. The Chinese manufacturer is known for launching its Redmi series smartphones in China first before bringing them to India. Fresh information reveals that Xiaomi may debut the Redmi 6 series which includes Redmi 6,6A and 6 Pro phones within the next two months in India.
A recent report had claimed that the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE may arrive in India as Mi 8i. India is also expected to receive the new Mi Band 3 fitness band. However, there is no confirmation on whether the Mi 8 SE and Mi Band 3 will be arriving in India in Q3 2018. However, the arrival of the Redmi 6 series imminent.
The Redmi 6 and 6A feature 5.45-inch display that support HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Redmi 6 and 6A are respectively powered by MediaTek Helio P22 and A22 chipsets. The Redmi 6 has 32 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM whereas the 6A model has 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 houses 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera system and a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel. The Redmi 6A features a rear camera of 13-megapixel and a frontal shooter of 5-megapixel. Both the smartphones are running on MIUI 9 flavored Android 8.1 Oreo and are powered by 3,000mAh batteries. The Redmi 6 features a fingerprint scanner whereas the low-end 6A does not feature it.
The TENAA listing and rumors surrounding the upcoming Redmi 6 Pro has revealed that it will be arriving with 5.84-inch 19:9 aspect ratio display with FHD+ resolution, Snapdragon 625 chipset, 16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB storage choices, 2 GB / 3 GB / 4 GB RAM variants, 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual cameras, 5-megapixel selfie camera and 4,000mAh battery.

The Redmi 6 and 6A are respectively priced at 599 Yuan (~$92; ~Rs. 6,300) and 799 Yuan (~$123; ~Rs. 8,400) in China. The Redmi 6 Pro may arrive with a starting price of 999 Yuan in China. Probably, the starting variant of the Redmi 6 Pro may be priced around Rs. 8,999 in India.
