A 59-year-old man who was cleaning drainage pipes was washed away and later found dead in Hyogo Prefecture. Another 59-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were swept away in swollen rivers in other prefectures. And in Hiroshima Prefecture, a man in 60s was confirmed dead after a landslide hit his house.
