On Saturday, the “Real Housewives of New York” star announced she will be taking the stage again for forthcoming “#CountessAndFriends” cabaret performances, after three weeks of treatment .
“Thank you so much for all of your support. I wanted you to know I’m doing great, & I hope you’ll come and see me on Aug 4th in Long Island @theparamountny or Aug 24th in Atlantic City @borgataac Looking forward to being back on stage!!!” de Lesseps, 53, posted to Instagram.
She is next scheduled to perform Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Paramount in Huntington, New York, followed by a show Friday, Aug. 24 at the Music Box Theater inside the Borgata resort in Atlantic City, NJ.
The reality star “will continue her out-patient treatment,” following the cabaret performances, an insider told People, adding “Luann feels a lot better.”
Earlier this month, de Lesseps’ co-star, Bethenny Frankel, confirmed the mother of two had checked back into rehab, after entering an alcohol treatment facility late last year. She is said to be seeking treatment at celebrity favorite Silver Hills Hospital in New Canaan, Conn.
“This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided – with their support – that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday’s reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process,” Frankel said. “Luann is now surrounded by a core group of people who truly have her best interests at heart and who are working to make sure she gets the help she needs.”
The Bravo personality was arrested in Palm Beach, Fla., last December for disorderly intoxication, battery on an officer, resisting arrest and making threats against a public servant. She has since reached a plea deal, but must show up in a Florida courthouse next month.
She was also recently accused of stealing from her two children, in a recent lawsuit filed by ex-husband, Alexandre de Lesseps, and their kids, son Noel and daughter Victoria.
