Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to launch Moto E5 Plus, the bigger variant of its entry-level smartphone. The company is holding an event at 3PM today. Moto E5 Plus specifications The Moto E5 Plus sports a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display of 1440×720p resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. For those who want additional space, the handset comes with external microSD card support of up to 256GB.
The Moto E5 Plus runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box, and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 15W TurboPower charging that claims to offer 6 hours of usage in 15 minutes of charging. For camera duties, the handset has a single 13-megapixel rear camera setup with aperture f/2.0 with LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and a 5MP camera with a dedicated selfie flash.
Readers must note that the handset was launched in April at an event held in Brazil at EUR 169 (roughly Rs 13,500). At the same event, Motorola had also launched two more handsets in the fifth generation of the Moto E family — Moto E5 and Moto E5 Play. The Moto E5 Play handset will not be coming to India, as at the time of the launch, it was announced that it was going to be launched in US only. Along with Moto E series, the company had also launched the sixth generation of Moto G, including three handsets — Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 Play. Of these three, the company has already launched Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in India at a starting price of Rs 13,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively.
