Oppo A5 price The Oppo A5 handset has been priced at CNY 1,500 (approximately Rs 15,500). It is available in Mirror Blue and Mirror Pink colour options. Already up for pre-order, the handset will go on sale starting next week on July 13.
Oppo A5 specifications In terms of specifications, the Oppo A5 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ FullView display of 720×1520 pixels resolution with an 19:9 aspect ratio. It has an 87.9 percent of screen-to-body ratio. The display comes with a notch on the top of the screen.
Powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 with Adreno 506 GPU, paired with 4GB RAM. It offers a 64GB internal storage and a microSD card support of up to 256GB.
For camera duties, the Oppo A5 comes with a horizontally placed dual rear camera setup comprising of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, paired with an LED flash. For selfie lovers, the device offers an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The cameras of the Oppo A5 come equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) support. The camera on the front is capable of recognizing up to 296 facial features and is powered AI beautify features.
Backed by 4,230mAh battery, the device runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. In terms of connectivity, the handset offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
