BOSTON (AP) — Police have identified two people who were killed in a shooting in Boston shortly after another shooting that left two injured.
Authorities say 26-year-old Wilfred Peters and 27-year-old Jeffrey Montaque were killed in the city’s Brighton neighborhood shortly after midnight Saturday.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say that it appears the two men were targeted.
Police responded to another shooting just minutes earlier in the city’s Mattapan neighborhood. They found two men also in their 20s with shooting injuries that are non life-threatening.
No arrests have been made in connection to either shooting.
