Just like every other year, Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone models for this year next month. Just recently, the company sent out the invites for its ‘Gather Round’ event where the brand is expected to unveil the new iPhones. Now, 9To5Mac has claimed that the publication can confirm some crucial details about the upcoming iPhone models. Further, the tech news website has shared a render of the yet-to-be-announced smartphones, which have been claimed to be official as well.
As per the report, 9To5Mac claims that the upcoming iPhone variants with 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch display size and OLED panels will indeed be called iPhone XS. The publication further suggests that the iPhone XS will be offered in gold colour, which was notably not offered with the iPhone X. While the report mentions that Apple is expected to launch three iPhone models at the event, there seems to be no concrete information about the third variant just yet.
In the leaked render, the alleged iPhone XS variants can be seen sporting metallic gold design on the sides, which provides the phones with a unique and premium look.
According to the previous leaks, t he 3D Touch functionality might be removed from one of the upcoming iPhones, and at this point, our guess would be that the 6.1-inch LCD model will be the one to skip this feature.
