Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt incorrectly said Thursday that the U. S. defeated „communist Japan“ in World War II as she defended America’s greatness.
„We defeated communist Japan,“ Earhardt said on „Fox & Friends,“ responding to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) saying America „was never that great“ a day prior. Japan has never been communist and was under imperial rule during World War II.
„We’re the most generous country in all of the world,“ she said. „Yes, we have our faults, but because of this country, this world is definitely a better place. We are great.“
Fellow „Fox & Friends“ host Steve Doocy appeared to correct Earhardt by saying that the U.
