Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL launch is nearing, it seems.
Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL launch is nearing, it seems. If Google follows the tradition, the third generation Pixel phones will launch sometime around October this year. Some recently leaked reports claim that Google will be launching the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL on October, the tech giant, however, is yet to confirm the same. Ahead of the launch, an unboxing video of the bigger Pixel 3 XL has been posted online. In addition, some live images of the 3 XL have also been leaked. Previous rumours suggest that the Pixel 3 XL will follow the on-going trend and come with a notched display.
The unboxing video of the Pixel 3 XL has been leaked by Slashleaks – who’s often accurate at its predictions. It should be first noted that the unboxing video doesn’t show the phone in it. It only shows the accessories that come along with the phone in the box. Interestingly, there’s a headphone jack.
To recollect, the Pixel 2 XL – that was launched last year – didn’t come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. So the presence of headphone jack in the retail box of the Pixel 3 XL is definitely a good news for the Pixel fans. Alongside the 3.5mm headphone jack, the Pixel 3 XL box also contains other accessories like USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, USB-C to USB-C cable and USB-C to USB-A adapter. The box also comes with Power Delivery charger.
Well, now that the unboxing video of the Pixel 3 XL has been leaked, it is safe to say that the Android phone from Google is almost ready to hit the markets.

In another leak, coming from the same source, we can see the phone in it. The leaked image of the Pixel 3 XL shows the phone in white colour. The picture, however, doesn’t reveal any new information about the phone. It just confirms the already known details. The image shows the phone with a notch above the display just as the iPhone X, but on the Pixel 3 XL is seen with a smaller cut out. We, however, as rumoured earlier don’t see a dual selfie camera setup on the Pixel 3 XL. On the rear panel we can see the Pixel 3 XL with a single camera setup paired with a LED flash. The middle of the back cover includes the Google logo as also seen on previous Pixel phones.
A day ago, the Pixel 3 XL stopped by Geekbench. The benchmark listing reveals some specs about the Pixel 3 XL. It shows that the Pixel phone will come with 4GB RAM – this could be one of the variants as some previous rumours suggest a 6GB Ram version too, Snapdragon 845 processor, 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution with 18:5:8 aspect ratio. The phone will definitely run on the latest Android 9 Pie.
