The leaked Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice gameplay video is just 36 seconds long but gives us a good look at the game and its combat mechanics.
In the leaked Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice gameplay we see the protagonist fighting enemies and also get a look at how players will traverse through the game’s world.
The game comes following the success of Dark Souls 3 and fans are already expecting the game to be quite similar to Dark Souls franchise.
However, From Software has noted that it is not an evolution of the Souls games as the game was designed from the ground up.
According to Hidetaka Miyazaki, while they did learn a lot from the Dark Souls games and the Bloodborne but, they have reinvented the formula for the upcoming Sekiro Shadows Die Twice and has built it from “ground up”.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will feature a direct story instead of integrated the narrative in items and environment. However, Miyazaki noted that the game will largely be a “fragmented experience”.
Furthermore, the studio has noted that the game isn’t rooted 100% in reality and will feature supernatural enemies .
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is an action-adventure title in development at From Software and will launch in 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
