A forgetful Google employee left behind a Pixel 3 XL after taking a Lyft to his (or her) final destination.
So where did this particular device come from? Well, a forgetful Google employee left the phone behind after taking a Lyft to his (or her) final destination. The phone was found lying in the backset by the driver after the Googler left the vehicle.
According to Android Police, which received the images from an anonymous tipster, there were quite a few identifying numbers on the back of the device. However, the publication blocked out these numbers to avoid getting the employee in trouble. And if you’re wondering what happened to the phone, it was given back to its rightful owner/operator a few minutes after they were initially separated — just enough time to sneak in a few photos.
At this point, the Pixel 3 XL has leaked extensively, leaving Google with previous little to surprise us with when the Pixel 3 family is officially unveiled on October 9 th. Not only have we seen the Pixel 3 XL from nearly every angle, but we were recently treated to a full unboxing video of the smartphone along with some sample photos.
We’ve also learned that the phone will have USB-C headphones in the box that look like wired versions of the Pixel Buds. In addition, the smartphone will support wireless charging either with garden variety Qi chargers on the market or via the first-party Google Pixel Stand accessory.
More recently, the smaller 5.5-inch Pixel 3 has been shown off in pictures. Unlike its bigger sibling, the Pixel 3 does not have a notch and looks more like a shrunken down Pixel 2 XL.
