You’re going to need a lot of money if you want to buy a new Colin Kaepernick jersey.
Kaepernick is selling black jerseys for $175 apiece, and 20 percent of the sales will go to Know Your Rights camps. The jerseys feature #IMWITHKAEP on the front. You can see photos of them below.

I have never seen a player try to sell jerseys for himself and not even for a team. These are just black Kaepernick jerseys. It makes no sense and they’re insanely expensive.
For contrast, you’d only have to pay around $100 if you wanted the jersey of a guy still in the NFL from the official league store. Nike, according to Rovell’s tweet above, isn’t even getting a cut of this.

It sure is a bit strange how Kaepernick wants us all to believe he’s a man of the people but is out here selling jerseys for substantially more than the actual NFL does. Even if you knock the price down 20 percent, the jerseys are still more expensive than the one sold by the NFL. (RELATED: NIKE MAKES MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT COLIN KAEPERNICK. NFL FANS WON’T BE HAPPY)
It’s almost like he enjoys making money, which is weird because he seems to want to preach a different message. He had no problem praising Fidel Castro, who wouldn’t allow capitalism or protests against the government anywhere near Cuba under his watch. Only in America can you trash the country and then try to profit from it by selling overpriced jerseys.
I can’t wait to see what he decides to sell next.
