The other day, we told you that Google’s first smart display, called the Home Hub, will arrive next month. Now, it appears that the FCC has approved the device allowing Google to cross it off its „to-do“ list. The FCC documentation didn’t explicitly name the product it reviewed, but under Google’s FCC ID number, it said that the regulatory agency tested an „interactive video streaming device.“
An image published with the FCC report shows the bottom of the device, revealing a Google model number of H1A and an FCC model number of A4RH1A. The FCC model number for the Google Home is a similar A4RH0ME. According to the documentation, the FCC tested the device over 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands, and also checked out the Home Hub’s Bluetooth connectivity.
