The Hero7 Black features the same design which GoPro has used in cameras dating back to the Hero5 generation, but does sport a darker matte black finish.
There’s nothing subtle about the 7 on the side of the camera—the Hero5 and Hero6 had very understated branding in comparison.
The 2-inch LCD is sensitive to touch.
Don’t worry about getting the Hero7 wet—it is rated to work at depths of up to 33 feet.
One of the camera’s two control buttons is on its right side.
The bottom door opens to give you access to the battery and microSD slot.
The button you’ll use most, Record, is on the top.
The Hero7 Black features a USB-C connector for external power, charging, and data transfer, as well as a micro HDMI output port.
A mounting cage and foot are included, along with a pair of adhesive sticky mounts.
