Capitol Police on Monday arrested 128 people who descended on Senate office buildings to protest Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and urge swing-vote senators to reject him.
A spokeswoman said authorities arrested 46 people just outside of room 413 in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, which is Sen. Susan Collins ’s (R-Maine) office, and charged them with unlawful demonstrations.
Another 82 people were removed from the Rotunda of the Russell Senate Office Building and charged with crowding, obstructing or incommoding, the spokeswoman said.
