Red Dead Online won’t be the end of GTA Online support. According to Rockstar Games, the studio will continue to support it for the forseable future.
GTA Online has been a huge success for Rockstar Games and since Red Dead Online is coming, one wonders what will happen to GTA? Well, speaking in a recent interview, Rockstar confirmed that it will continue to support GTA Online for the foreseeable future.
Red Dead Online won’t end support for GTA Online so expect new content updates. However, GTA Online won’t be supported for long it seems. From what we can gather, it seems developers want to focus more on Red Dead Online and may not support GTA Online for too long. They plan to stagger the updates for both games to allow players to switch between the two.
But their development model may not allow them to actually fulfill these plans.
Red Dead Online learns a lot of GTA Online and one can consider it a clone of GTA. There are many elements taken from GTA Online that would drive Red Dead’s multiplayer portion.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is releasing on October 26 while the multiplayer mode won’t be available at release.
