This should provide folks with plenty of time to prepare for the game’s release on October 12.
It was also announced Blackout, the battle royale mode, will be capped at 120fps on PC when it launches. Treyarch said it is committed to supporting an uncapped framerate, but it wants to “roll things out carefully.”
Because the framerate affects the load on the servers, the studio said it wants to “ensure the game delivers a great playable experience,” during its first moments.

When Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 releases next week it will include 14 maps, or 15 when the free Nuketown map is included. It releases in November.
