OnePlus 6T is expected to be launched globally on October 17. Now, ahead of that the smartphone accidentally went up for pre-orders on Amazon India. The listing has now been taken down but it has leaked the pre-order offers as well as sales date for the upcoming OnePlus flagship.
Amazon India’s listing was spotted by one of our subscribers and he shared the screenshot for the same on Twitter. It said that the pre-orders for the OnePlus 6T would start from October 9 to October 30. The ‘Notify Me’ page on Amazon India for OnePlus 6T has already been live but this pre-order listing looks like a mistake as the phone hasn’t been announced.
Interestingly, the Amazon India’s pre-booking listing for OnePlus 6T revealed that if you pre-order the phone, you will get OnePlus Type-C Bullets earphone for free. You will also get Rs. 500 cashback as Amazon Pay balance.
Considering OnePlus is offering Type-C Bullets for free as a part of the pre-order offer, it is expected that these Type-C headphones may not come bundled in the box. To recall, it is already known that OnePlus 6T will come without the 3.5mm jack.
The OnePlus 6T is expected to feature the same design as recently launched OPPO R17. So, there could be a new waterdrop notch display with slim bezels on front. There will be a dual rear-camera setup on the back. The OnePlus 6T is expected to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
Internally, the OnePlus 6T is excepted to come with the same Snapdragon 845 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It will also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Further, the phone will pack a bigger battery, probably of 3,700mAh capacity. The smartphone will run Android Pie-based Oxygen OS.
