This season is hands-down the best time of the year for TV deals. So whether you want to buy smaller size 40-inch, a mid-size 50-inch, or a 65-inch+ model, there’s an HDTV deal out there to fit your budget.
Today only (Nov. 18), Target is taking 15 percent off TV purchases . (The discount is shown during checkout). This is the same TV sale Target ran during Black Friday 2017. The discount is not applicable with Samsung TVs or LG OLED TVs. Nevertheless, it’s resulting in some serious price lows. For instance, you can get the TCL 49-inch 4K Roku Smart TV for $237.99. That trumps Amazon’s price by $42.

Although we’re still a few days out from Thanksgiving, we’re already seeing steep TV discounts. Here’s the best of what you can buy now. Heads up: new Walmart shoppers can use coupon „ELLEN10“ at checkout to save an extra $10 off orders of $35 or more. If you already have an existing account, just create a new one with a new credit card to use the coupon.
For OLED fans, LG is kicking things off with an excellent sale on its 2018 C8 Series TV. Through Dec. 1, you can get the 55-inch LG Smart OLED TV (2018) for $1,696.99. That’s $500 off its regular retail price. The C8 OLED is an improvement on the already excellent C7 model from last year.
That’s not the only LG TV on sale. You can also get the 2018 LG Super 55-inch 4K Smart TV w/ AI ThinQ for $896.99 ($300 off) and the LG 70-inch 4K Smart TV for $896.99 ($603 off). That’s not typo, but the 55-inch and the 70-inch are price the same, so if you have room for the bigger screen, that’s your best bet.
Last holiday season, LG’s 55-inch B7 OLED hit $1,596 ($700 off). So it’s possible the C8 mentioned above may drop a few bucks more. However, it’s still an excellent deal and its current low.
If LG’s OLED deals are still too rich for your blood, your next best bet is a Samsung QLED TV. These LCDs deliver more vibrant colors and deeper blacks than conventional LCDs.
Amazon currently has the latest model Samsung 55-inch QLED 4K UHD Smart TV for (QN55Q6FNAFXZA) on sale for $997.99. That’s a whopping $502 off its $1,499 list price. This 4K UHD Samsung TV features HDR support, a near bezel-less design, a 120Hz motion rate, and 4 HDMI ports. What’s more, built-in Bixby voice assistant simplifies searching for content and flipping through channels allowing you to just use your voice.
Amazon is leading the charge here one again with its Insignia 43-inch 4K Fire TV w/ HDR for $249.99 ($80 off). The Insignia TV is a solid smart TV with good picture quality and sound. It’s the best Amazon-powered TV to date. Not to be outdone, Walmart also has some excellent 4K offers:
