Samsung uses the same camera system in the Galaxy A8s as seen in the Galaxy A9. On the rear panel, the Galaxy A8s sports a triple rear camera setup, while on the front there’s just a single camera for clicking selfies.
Hours after Honor announced its first punch hole display smartphone – the Honor View 20, Samsung launched the long-time rumoured Galaxy A8s, which also comes with the similar in-display selfie camera. Samsung has launched the Galaxy A8s at an event in China today. The Galaxy A8s is the first ever smartphone from the South Korean smartphone manufacturer to come with the Infinity-O display, which was unveiled alongside several other Displays at the Samsung Developers Conference last month. At the same event, Samsung announced the coming of its foldable phone in 2019.
Coming back to the Galaxy A8s, the phone becomes the first phone to officially launch with the in-display selfie camera. The front camera on the Galaxy A8s is placed inside a punch hole on the top right corner of the display.
