They are three different applications with vastly different design and functions (to some extent), so sometime it might be easy to forget that WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger are actually owned by the same company: Facebook. A recent report by The New York Times has stated that these popular apps will soon be closely related to each other than just having the same owner.
The report claimed that Facebook is currently in the early stage of integrating the three apps with each other.
