Forbes has designated 21-year-old Kylie Jenner the “youngest self-made billionaire of all time,” despite her ties to the famous and wealthy family behind the Kardashian empire.
In a special issue of Forbes released Tuesday, the money magazine says the Kardashian clan’s most junior sibling has taken the title of youngest self-made billionaire from Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, who was all of 23 when he hit the 10-figure mark in 2008.
The magazine credits the socialite’s cosmetics line, Kylie Cosmetics, for at least $900 million of her fortune.
She credits social media — ignoring her powerfully connected lineage.
“It’s the power of social media,” Jenner told the magazine.
