Two Alaskan floatplanes collided Monday in mid-air, killing three of the estimated 16 people onboard and injuring 10 — with at least three others missing, officials said.
The planes were taking cruise ship passengers from a seven-day round-trip vacation out of Vancouver on a “shore excursion” sold through Royal Princess Cruises, according to a statement released by the company.
US Coast Guard officials told The Post that they were carrying 14 passengers and two pilots — one on each aircraft — when the collision happened around 1 p.
