Vodafone is planning to launch its 5G network across seven cities in the UK from July 3 before rolling it out to 12 more locations later this year. The first 5G phone will also go on sale next week.
Vodafone promised earlier this year that it would launch its 5G network in several towns and cities across the UK this year, but without confirming an official date. Today, the British telecommunications giant announced that it will be rolling out 5G to seven cities across the country on July 3 before its wider availability by the end of the year.
The first batch of cities that will receive the next-generation cellular network connectivity are Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, and London.
