Senator Elizabeth Warren is Democratic voters’ first pick for presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s choice for vice president, according to a CBS News poll released on Sunday.
Seventy-one percent of Democratic voters say that Biden should pick Warren as his running mate, heading the list of potential female options.
Senator Kamala Harris followed Warren in second at 59%, with former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams at 50 percent and Senator Amy Klobuchar at 49%.
The progressive Massachusetts politician also topped the first-choice pick for the position with 36%. Harris followed at 19%, who edged Abrams at 14%, and Klobuchar who came in fourth with 13%.
