Looking for something upbeat amid the coronavirus pandemic? Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are here to help with a new song.
The singers teamed up for “Rain On Me,“ an upbeat dance track where each singer takes a turn with a verse. They also sing together on some of the choruses.
„I’d rather be dry, but at least I’m alive / Rain on me, rain, rain,“ they sing.
As you may have guessed, there is plenty of rainy day weather imagery.
„I can feel it on my skin (It’s comin‘ down on me) / Teardrops on my face (Water like misery),“ the song continues. „Let it wash away my sins (It’s coming down on me)
Let it wash away, yeah.“
Lady Gaga released a music video for the song Friday, which opens up with a shot of the artist lying on the floor with a knife stab wound in her thigh.
