The former Michigan football quarterback, who wasn’t picked during the NFL draft last month, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Patterson’s agent, Bryan Ehrlich, announced the transaction on Twitter.
Patterson was the last of the 337 players invited to the NFL scouting combine to land with a team – a surprising development for the former five-star recruit whose stock plummeted after an inconsistent senior season and a shaky performance at the Senior Bowl in January.
