The deadly virus outbreak has created havoc around the world and has claimed the lives of more than 240,000 globally
Pope Francis called for the international scientific cooperation on Sunday for discovering a vaccine to treat the coronavirus or COVID-19 disease and mentioned that any successful vaccine must be made available around the world.
Francis, who has been giving his Sunday address form the papal library in place of the St Peter’s Square due to the lockdown that has been imposed in Italy, thanked all the people around the work who were providing essential services.
He encouraged international cooperation to deal with the crisis and combat the virus, which has infected nearly 3.5 million people and killed more than 240,000 people worldwide.
