Out-of-state arrivals from regions which are experiencing large outbreaks of the coronavirus may face fines for breaking the quarantine order.
New York, New Jersey and Connecticut will require visitors from certain states with worsening coronavirus outbreaks to quarantine for 14 days on arrival, the governors of the three states said Wednesday, noting that while cases in the tri-state region have dropped significantly, new hotspots are emerging in other parts of the country.
