Samsung is most likely skipping on the Galaxy Watch 2 branding and jumping directly to the Galaxy Watch 3. Here’s what we know about its new wearables.
Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch Active 2 in September. The smartwatch succeeded the Galaxy Watch Active, which in turn succeeded the original Galaxy Watch. So naturally, one would expect the next Samsung smartwatch to be called the Galaxy Watch 2 since the “Active” branding seemingly represented a separate, sportier range of smartwatches. However, it looks like Samsung is once again in a branding dilemma and could label its next smartwatch as the “Galaxy Watch 3.”
The name was first spotted by MySmartPrice on the NTBC certification website. NTBC is the regulatory body that certifies devices launching in Thailand.
