Biden grabbed the moderate lane with gusto by proposing a massive $700 billion plan to bolster the United States economy and make America great again.
We haven’t seen too much lately of former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. He’s given a few lackluster interviews and recorded messages from what appears to be his home with his wife Jill helping him out. On these occasions, it’s uncomfortably clear that his mental acuity is not what many fans fondly remembered from his days as President Barack Obama’s right-hand, go-to guy. The gaffes and incoherence have led some, such as Thomas Friedman, opinion columnist at the New York Times, to come up with excuses for Biden not to attend any debates with President Donald Trump.
On Wednesday, Biden boldly laid out a plan to reporters showing his new aggressive economic and job creation agenda. Biden plans to prove his distractors wrong and come out swinging Thursday, as he’s scheduled to announce his game-changing economic platform that co-opts Trump’s core agenda.
