Microsoft has announced that it will be holding a six-day demo event for the Xbox One between July 21 – 27, as part of the Summer Game Fest initiative. No date yet on the first-party event.
In keeping with what has happened in previous months, and during sales on GOG and Steam, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest initiative will be welcoming Xbox once more, starting July 21.
For those not familiar, with the cancelation of E3, a new initiative by Game Awards creator Geoff Keighly manifested itself as Summer Game Fest, a four-month-long celebration of games, set to conclude in August most likely with gamescom’s Opening Night Live event. One of the goals of this initiative, as you may glean from the title, is to showcase games of all kinds, which in many instances also means that playable demos will be available to try.
