Published on By You might still get stuck on the dreaded yellow team in Fall Guys, but at least it won’t be quite as frequent. When Fall Guys isn’t auctioning off a costume for charity – at the time of writing, the current high bid is a bidet company called Tushy with a shirt that says “Ask me about my butthole.” – they’re making fairly frequent updates to the game. We’ve already seen a new game mode and a handful of new costumes, but as is the case with all hot multiplayer games, freshness is the key to longevity. There’s lots more on the roadmap, including more games and more costumes (hopefully not that costume) but that doesn’t mean there isn’t also room for small, incremental, quality-of-life updates. Today’s sneaky Fall Guys patch is one such update. We just stealthily made a few changes to the game ???? S N E A K YU P D A T E ???? Valve costumes will now be available in the store on PS4???? Max player count for Fall Mountain is now 15???? Team Tail Tag and Royal Fumble timer is now 1:30???? No more back to back team games Fall Guys ???? It won’t make ending up on the doomed yellow team any more bearable, but at least it won’t happen for two games in a row. Or if you partake in some more of Oliver’s Twitter shenanigans, Mediatonic might just delete the yellow team altogether: Yooooo Alex just said he would delete the yellow team if we can get 1 million retweets 1 RT = 1 Millioneth of a delete pic.twitter.com/3D9YqdPi3R — Fall Guys ???? Fall Guys auctions off the chance to add a costume to the game for charity Mediatonic’s Fall Guys has an astonishing first week The Fall Guys launch trailer is adorable and inspiring Fall Guys player count reduced from 100 to 60 Murder by Numbers PC and Switch release date confirmed What are the Fall Guys system requirements? Enter the Gungeon and God’s Trigger lead this week’s Epic freebies. Published on By Enter the Gungeon and God’s Trigger lead this week’s Epic freebies. The pair of indie action roguelikes will be free until next Thursday. Developed by Dodge Roll, Enter the Gungeon launched in 2016 to strong reviews. IGN’s Vince Ingenito gave the game an 8.5, writing, “Enter the Gungeon’s design is quite sophisticated for a game about shooting bullets at anthropomorphized bullets with guns; it uses elements of one genre in the context of another, enhancing its most enjoyable elements. Despite there being so many more moving parts than in a typical arcade shooter, it somehow feels more immediate and focused on getting you into the action and keeping you there. And where other similar games can run out of novelty within a few hours, Enter the Gungeon is still surprising me with new implements of destruction after 50 hours of play.” It got a sequel/spin-off, Exit the Gungeon, last year. This is the second time Epic has featured the shooter as a free game. So grab it before it’s gone, but, like a player starting a new run in a punishing roguelike, it may well return. God’s Trigger was similarly well received, though its release didn’t get as much attention as Enter the Gungeon. Polygon’s Cass Marshall wrote, “God’s Trigger is a dynamic and ridiculous power fantasy. It’s satisfying to take the gameplay loop of a shoot-’em-up and share it with a friend. Adding a heaven-and-hell backdrop — along with all of the powerful abilities that allows — is just icing on the cake.” However, if you want something less stressful and more story-driven to play, Epic’s got you covered. The third episode of interactive sitcom,3 Out of 10, is out now. The whole series is free so you can get caught up on the previous episodes before jumping in.
