In January this year, the Unicode Consortium announced a bunch of new emoji characters that are coming this year, and they’re right on schedule. With Apple releasing the second developer beta of iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2 today. the whole set is unveiled. Naturally, these are specific to Apple’s platforms, as each company can design its emoji characters however it wants.
