The First Dates team swap the bright lights of London for the idyllic British countryside, where singletons from across the UK meet in the hopes of securing some yuletide romance. First Dates at Christmas airs on Dec.23 at 9 p.m. on Channel 4. Following on from last year’s Christmas special, this chapter in the Worzel Gummidge story sees the return of Saucy Nancy, a carved ship’s figurehead played by Shirley Henderson. In the original series, the character was portrayed by the late Barbara Windsor. Worzel Gummidge: Saucy Nancy airs on Christmas Eve at 5.55 p.m. on BBC One. Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Matt Lucas and Bake Off: The Professionals host Tom Allen kick off yuletide celebrations in the iconic tent along with some of the greatest ever Bake Off contestants and the very special music guest, Alexandra Burke.
