Southern Californians can anticipate slick, wet roadways Monday, Dec.28, as winter’s first rainfall is expected to roll through, weather forecasters said. The storm, which was anticipated to bring roughly a half-inch of rain to most areas, is anticipated to kick in Monday morning and last into the evening, forecasters said Saturday. Mountain areas above 4,000 feet were expected to see snow, with up to a foot of snow falling on places above 6,000 feet, said Samantha Connolly, meteorologist for the National Weather Service’s San Diego office.
