Micaela Kelly scored 29 points and Molly Davis added 23 points to lead Central Michigan women’s basketball to a 77-72 win over Bowling Green in the Mid-American Conference tournament title game Saturday in Cleveland. This will be CMU’s third consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament. The brackets will be announced on Monday. Heather Oesterie was an assistant coach under Sue Guevara for the previous two tournament trips. In 2018, CMU reached the Sweet 16 after upsetting LSU and Ohio State. In 2019, the Chippewas fell to Michigan State in Round 1.
