This is a tribute to the Star Wars actors and others associated with the Star Wars universe who died of the novel coronavirus. So sad to hear David Prowse has passed. He died from COVID-19 complications at the age of 85 on November 28,2020. Prowse was chosen for the role due to his stature as a bodybuilder and weightlifter, Star Wars Fandom reported. He spoke the lines during filming, but they were later dubbed over by James Earl Jones. The video below shows how he sounded as Darth Vader before the dub. She said he had Alzheimer’s and had been hospitalized with COVID-19 for two weeks. She said that because of COVID restrictions, she and other family members didn’t get to say goodbye. “It’s horrible that Covid restrictions meant we did not get to see him and say goodbye,” she said. “But when we went to collect his stuff from the hospital the nurse said what a cool guy he was. He was such a larger-than-life character. He would have loved to see himself trending on Twitter.” We lost a man today. Andrew Jack was diagnosed with Coronavirus 2 days ago.
