The story praises Fauci for being “courteous, low-key, and empathetic.” “He politely interacts with the office assistants who help him with his correspondence, and he sweats over the proper way to let people down,” the article states, noting how much popularity he garnered from around the world. WaPo’s headline and article also gushed over The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director for being viewed “as a reassuring voice of reason.” “Anthony Fauci’s pandemic emails: ‘All is well despite some crazy people in this world,’” the headline reads, noting Facui’s willingness to lose sleep for his job.
