Eleven people — some of whom were taking selfies — died at Amber Fort in Rajasthan after lightning hit a watchtower.
At least 38 people in India were killed by lightning during a 24-hour stretch as storms hammered the country on Sunday, according to authorities. Eighteen of those deaths, including numerous farmers, occurred in Uttar Pradesh, the most highly populated state in India, officials said. Eleven people — some of whom were taking selfies — died at Amber Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan after lightning hit a watchtower.
