Gatland’s men are in South Africa, but will the Lions roar this Saturday? Here’s how to get a British and Irish Lions live stream and watch every 2021 Tour game online.
Warren Gatland’s British and Irish Lions have headed to South Africa to resume old hostilities in the Southern Hemisphere – and their first Test against the reigning world champions now looms large on Saturday. The magnitude of the challenge this weekend was underlined by the recent South Africa ‚A‘ victory over the Lions, so read on as our guide explains how to watch every Lions Tour 2021 match online and get a rugby live stream from anywhere on earth. Out to avenge their series defeat to the Springboks during their last tour of South Africa in 2009, the Lions are playing eight matches in three cities. The tour kicked off properly in Johannesburg on the first weekend of July, before heading to nearby Pretoria. The Lions‘ first Test against South Africa proper is set to take place in Cape Town on July 24. Gatland’s selection for his squad has seen Bundee Aki, Andrew Porter and Jack Conan of Ireland all included, but Johnny Sexton, James Ryan and Garry Ringrose were all left out of his 37-man selection. Young Louis Rees-Zammit’s inclusion is already looking like a master stroke, after the 20-year-old scored a try within four minutes of his Lions debut. Another promising sign for the Lions is the return of captain Alun Wyn Jones. The Wales forward dislocated his shoulder in a warm-up with Japan, leading Irish scrum-half Conor Murray to take the armband, but the legend has since recovered and will lead his side out in the first Test this weekend.
