Jamie Lynn Spears has remained mostly quiet about Britney Spears‘ conservatorship. But as the pop star is speaking up, so is her younger sister. On Thursday morning, hours after Britney Spears won the right to hire her own lawyer, the 30-year-old actress shared an exasperated post on her Instagram story. „Dear Lord, Can we end this (expletive) once and for all. Amen,“ the post read. It was during Wednesday’s hearing that Britney Spears emotionally requested an „investigation“ into alleged abuse and reiterated that she wants her father, James „Jamie“ Spears out as co-conservator. She also said she wants Jodi Montgomery, the state-appointed conservator of her person, to continue in that role. Jamie Lynn Spears first broke her silence on her sister’s conservatorship in June, days after her pop star sister passionately addressed a Los Angeles court in a 20-minute speech condemning her „insane“ situation. „I just want to take a second to address a few things,“ Jamie Lynn said in a lengthy video posted June 28 on Instagram Stories. „The only reason I hadn’t before is because I felt like until my sister was able to speak for herself and say what she felt she needed to say publicly that it wasn’t my place and it wasn’t the right thing to do. But now that she’s very clearly spoken and said what she needed to say, I feel like I can follow her lead and say what I feeI I need to say.“ Britney’s conservatorship began in 2008 after she suffered a mental breakdown in 2007. During the June 23 hearing, the singer spoke out against her „abusive“ conservatorship, which is partly managed by her father and admitted that she „would honestly like to sue my family.
