Jungle Cruise is shipping off into the world in just a few hours, which means the world is very, very close to a movie in which Jesse Plemons argues with a bee. As you might expect, Jungle Cruise —which is coming to theaters and to Disney Plus Premier Access this Friday—is utter nonsense, but like, in a fun way. This is a movie in which Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson dresses like Humphrey Bogart from The African Queen and fights a CGI leopard with his bare hands. Based on the Disney theme park ride of the same name, Jungle Cruise stars Emily Blunt as a scientist on a mission to track down the Tree of Life, one petal of which—legend has it—will cure all diseases.
