The big picture: Netflix announced that it’s starting the first public tests of its foray into gaming. Subscribers in Poland can currently try out two games on Android at no additional cost. This is undoubtedly a small first step, but also a clue as to how Netflix plans to eventually build its gaming side up to scale. A tweet from Netflix’s official „NetflixGeeked“ account made the announcement that the games Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3 are available to Android users who have Netflix subscriptions in Poland, with no ads or in-app purchases. „It’s very, very early days and we’ve got a lot of work to do in the months ahead, but this is the first step,“ Netflix writes.
