Will there be a free God of War Ragnarok PS5 upgrade? How about a Gran Turismo 7 free PS5 upgrade? Is Sony doing them anymore following Horizon Forbidden West?
The possibility of a free God of War Ragnarok PS5 upgrade has been put in doubt as Sony has suggested that it would no longer offer the free upgrade path as seen with the likes of Final Fantasy VII Remake. The same deal will probably apply to the eagerly anticipated Gran Turismo 7, despite Sony backing down and offering the free upgrade for Horizon: Forbidden West when that releases in February 2022. According to Sony, neither God of War: Ragnarok nor Gran Turismo 7 will get a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade when those anticipated games are released over the next year or so.
