Anti-vaccine protesters marched through Brooklyn to Barclays Center on Sunday where they chanted “Stand with Kyrie” outside the Nets home opener with the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. According to video reports, some protesters jumped the barricades and pushed toward a main entrance, chanting “Let Kyrie play.” The crowd reportedly included a mix of protesters supporting various political causes and sides of the political spectrum. The Nets on Oct.12 banned Irving from practicing or playing with the team until he either receives a Covid-19 vaccination or New York City regulations on the matter change.
