All these design features led the selfie cameras to be contained in a hole-punch. There are different ways of containing the selfie camera on a smartphone, like water-drop notch, U-shape notch, V-shape notch, etc. However, the most common display design, which most premium flagships are going ahead with, is the hole-punch. Google recently launched its Pixel 6 series devices, which also come with a hole-punch camera in the front. “Energy Ring” is an app available for free on the Google Play Store, that is meant for devices with hole-punch cameras.
