The month of September has finally started and with it, we can expect a bunch of smartphone announcements like never before. We will be welcomed by the most-anticipated iPhone 14 series, which will be debuting at the ‘Far Out’ event on September 7th. This is the most hyped-up announcement for the month. This will be followed by a bunch of other launches from other brands like Motorola, POCO, Redmi, and even Huawei.  These announcements should keep the world of tech busy and excited.
Here’s a closer look at the phones and their specifications launching next week. Let’s get started.
The iPhone 14 series is set to launch on September 7th at the ‘Far Out’ event. The lineup is expected to include four models: the standard iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus/Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will have a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 14 Max/Plus and iPhone Pro Max will get a larger 6.7-inch screen. The Pro models this year will get an LTPO display with an adaptive refresh rate and possibly an always-on-display functionality for the first time.
The Pro models will arrive with a new A16 chipset for performance improvements, 48MP primary camera and there are rumours that we might see a slightly fast charging support. Speculations are rife that Apple might ditch the 128GB storage version for a 256GB model. If rumours are to be believed, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will get a new pill-shaped punch-hole design for the Face ID and front camera sensors. There are chances we might get a slightly bigger capacity battery.
iPhone 14 series price: iPhone 14 series price is said to be slightly higher than the iPhone 13 series. The lineup might start at $749 and go up to $1149 for the Pro Max model.
The POCO M5 and POCO M5s are set to launch globally on September 6th. However, the company will be unveiling the POCO M5 in India on September 5th. It arrives as the successor to the POCO M4 and should bring some notable improvements. The POCO M5 is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and will pack a 5000mAh battery that might have fast charging support. The handset will arrive with triple cameras on the back and a 90Hz refresh rate.
